Job Description:

BE – Electrical – 10 – 15 yrs of exp

• Technical and Development • Ensure the timely completion of all project specifications, designs and drawings for project assigned. • Ensure all documentation within the scope of discipline is prepared, checked, reviewed, and approved in accordance with the Discipline Working Instructions and Discipline approval Matrix, ETVP. • Carry out review of vendor’s bids and drawings / documentation for technical acceptability. • Handling subcontractors / off loader • Utilization of SME for speciality items • Provide technical assistance to other design groups as necessary • Ensures the compliance to Codes and standards, statutory guidelines. • Knowledge of various Electrical schemes followed in DC as per applicable standards like TIA-942B/ UPTIME. • Knowledge of Design calculation, load balancing, Reliability studies. Load flow, harmonics study, cable sizing, lighting calculation, earthing calculation etc • Providing cost optimized solution. • Doing costing of project /preparation of TCO/ preparation of CTL etc • Preparation of design calculations for sizing the major electrical equipment. Familiar with ETAP calculations – for Load flow, short circuit, Harmonic study, arc flash study.
