We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow our engineering teams for  InSight SaaS products. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about mentoring teams, driving product excellence and delivering scalable, high-performance software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a growing team of software engineers working on StreetLight InSight products.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Product, Data Science, UX and DevOps teams to define and deliver product features.
  • Provide technical leadership and drive architectural decisions to ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.
  • Strong backend development experience including proficiency in SQL.
  • Author and review technical designs, conduct thorough code reviews to uphold engineering excellence.
  • Foster the culture of Kaizen through mentoring, process optimization and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead sprint planning, execution, and release cycles to ensure timely and high-quality feature delivery.
  • Proactively manage production health by addressing issues swiftly and implementing preventive measures for operational excellence.
  • Support the professional growth and performance development of team members through regular feedback and career guidance.

Required Qualifications

  • B.Tech /M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
  • 12+ years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong technical background in back-end development, preferably with Python (or Java/ Go/ C++ ).
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud/Azure) and scalable system design.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and foster a high-performing team culture.
